カムカバーの点検
Check the cam cover
前回の40年チーフと同じ場所にまたクラック発見。
ここはカムギアがギリギリなので肉厚が薄いのはしょうがないのですが、カムリフターを支える大事な場所なので対策します。
Another crack found in the same place as my 40Chief
オイルラインもあり薄い場所で溶接は難しい場所です。
There is also an oil line and it's thin place where welding is difficult.
溶接後は仕上げて洗浄。
Clean and finish after welding
カムギアをギリギリ逃がしてあります。
The cam gear is barely escaped.
トランスミッションケースとプライマリーの合わせとスレッドCheck
Transmission case and primary alignment and thread check
ボルトの座面が斜めになっています。
トルク管理とクラック防止の為に修理していきます。
The surface of the bolt is slanted. Fix it.
完了。
Done
レフトクランケースのドレインボルトのスレッド修正
Correct the thread of the left crankcase drain bolt
修正完了。トルクテスト。
It completed. torque test.
カムフォロワーシャフトが摩耗しているので交換
Replace the cam follower shaft, because it's worn
オーブンに入れて
put in the oven
治具プレートを使って抜きます
Pull out using a jig plate
ピニオンレースも一度抜いて圧入の具合を確認
Pull out the pinion race and check the condition of the press fit.
カムシャフトブッシングも一度抜いて点検
Remove camshaft bushing and check
もう一度洗浄します。
Cleaning again.
