I built this bike few years ago. This is one of my favorite bike.
腰下まで分解した1940SS
Disassembled for bottom end
ドライブサイドに修理後があります。
ネジ山も怪しい
There are some repaired on the drive side.
The screw thread may also not good

Someone already welded but looks not good
クラック発見
これではオイル漏れや更にクラックが広がる可能性があるので修正していきます。
Found the crack
It’s gonna be leaking oil and cracks may bigger, so I will fix
クラック近辺を削って
Grind around the crack
ケースを先にオーブンでしっかり温めて溶接
Heat the oven before Weld the case and then weld.
溶接後もゆっくり冷やします。
この辺のタイミングを間違うと溶接後にクラックが入り最悪は修正不可能になる事もありますので毎回緊張します😐
Cool down slowly after welding.
マシーン加工。
スカウトケースはシリンダー下の方の穴でタイミングマークがあるのでオイルドレンプラグ穴だけにしました。
Machine work
The 741scout case has a timing mark hole in the under the cylinder, so I made only the oil drain plug hole.
どうにか修理完了💪
